Mandvi is a small town located about 50 kms from Bhuj. While the bhuj route is fine there is another route that takes to through Anjar, Bhadreshwar, Mundra before reaching Mandvi. I have used both routes and I would

prefer the later as its an internal road which means less traffic and has more beauty. Roads are good on both routes except a few patches.

Mandvi doesn't have many hotels and restaurants which is pretty helpful in maintaining the pristine beach. Moreover its a "dry" area so you shall not find any nuisance. 

Main attraction of Mandvi is obviously its pristine beach. It has powdery white sands and is pretty long due to which it never feels crowded. You can always find a calm spot after a short walk. There is some garbage on the beach but it wouldn't catch your attention. Heat in Kutch is pretty strong in afternoon so beach should be visited in morning and evening only.
