Mobor Beach Resort Goa - Mobor Beach Goa

Mobor, a small town in South Goa is where a narrow spit of sand dunes between the Arabian Sea and the Assolna River Estuary forms one of Goa’s breathtaking beaches.

The 10km long stretch of sand forms a vital link in Goa’s stunningly world famous holiday destinations. Along with the vibrant life in and around Mobor, adventure enthusiasts can also take to the skies with some parasailing around the beach.

Located at about 16 kms from the south of Colva beach, where the sea Sal empties into the Arabian Sea, Mobor Beach is an ideal location for the adventure tourists and those who like water sports. Cavelossim arrives in between the Arabian Sea and the Sal River and it is famous for mussels. It is one of the finest beaches of Goa.

Goa in India is famous for its innumerable beaches along its long stretch of coastal land. There is quite an array of beaches in Goa. Whether you prefer a pleasant, calm little getaway or a happening beach with wildest of the parties you just have to pick. Goa has just about all kind of beaches. Mobor Beach is a lovely stretch of golden sands skirting the aquamarine waters of the Arabian Sea. It was practically unheard of till 1980s. Around 1980s, this pristine beach was discovered by the tourists and started gaining popularity. It is a public beach and is amply provided with the beach umbrellas and chairs by the private enterprises operating nearby. It is about 10 km long and is located between the estuary of River Assolna and the majestic Arabian Sea. It is situated close to the famous Colva Beach. A major factor that attracts the tourists to this place is its serenity and less crowded atmosphere.

Unlike the beaches at Miramar and a few other beaches in Goa, Mobor is not subject to any noticeable undercurrents and therefore its waters provide the ideal conditions for swimming and other underwater pursuits. As such, Mobor beach possesses what is widely thought of as the widest selection of water sports in Goa, with jet skiing, parasailing and inflatables filling the sea. There are however, more gentle activities on offer, such as deep sea fishing trips, dolphin watching excursions and tours offered by local fishermen around the area. Mobor is now also home to a wide variety of shops, which have appeared in response to the increasing demands of tourism.
