Munthi Vinayakar temple is located in the area of Puliakulam which is 4 Km from the Coimbatore main city. The temple is on the middle of the of Puliakulam Road, Sowripalayam Road and Pankaja Mills Road junction. Built in 1993, it's main God Munthi Vinayakar is a form of Lord Ganesha. The 14 ton weighed idol created of single black granite rock is one of the biggest statues in South Asia. Throng of devotees visit this temple to worship Ganesha during main festival of Vinayakar Chathurthi.
